Kodati Rev.B

The development of Kodati Rev. B builds on the regarded benefits of the original Kodati. With only 34-mm height an extremely flat and compact cooler for use in HTPC&'s or NAS systems .This was made possible due to the placement of the fan under the heat sink.

The Kodati guarantees safe and reliable cooling of systems up to 65 watts TDP. Installation with screws is easy as pie. A backplate is not required, in this way problems with electronic components on the back of the motherboard will be avoided and the compatibility to a huge variety of mainboards is increased. In particular, the Kodati Rev. B, one of the first cooler on the retail market, suites well for mounting on socket AM1 systems.

AM1 compatibility
The new revision of the Scythe Kodati, as one of the first cooler on the retail market, offers the possibility of mounting on base AM1 (FS1b) motherboards. Therefore, it is now possible to replace the stock cooler (the AM1 APU) against a much more powerful and silent model.

Extremely Flat Design
With just 34 mm in height, the Kodati is ideal for doing its' job in cases with very limited space, frequently encountered in Mini-ITX cases. Where other models would be hopelessly stranded, the Kodati fits in just nicely.

Compact Dimensions
Thanks to the Kodati's reserved dimensions, exisiting PCI-e slots will not be blocked, hence allowing the use of separate graphic as well as other add-on cards. Possible collisions with mainboard components or heatsinks are kept to a minimum.

E.I.S. (Easy Installation with Screw)
As the Kodati is screwed on directly without a back plate, possible incompatibilites when installing can be ruled out as a back plate / components collision is out of the question - a scenario often encountered with Mini-ITX mainboards where for reasons of limited space the backside is often used to house various components.
