The HP 527 Dual Radio 802.11ac Unified Walljack Access Device Series integrates high-speed, wired-wireless connectivity into a low-profile design that can be quickly installed in a standard wall outlet box. It provides one GbE uplink port, three 1000BASE-T Ethernet ports, a dual radio 802.ac/n access point and a pass-through RJ-45 connection to support a range of service and connectivity options. One Ethernet port can be configured as an IEEE 802.3af-compliant PSE port for powering devices such as IP telephones. The walljack provides wireless coverage for one room. Comprehensive Security The HP 527 Dual Radio 802.11ac Unified Walljack Access Device Series protects wireless traffic between authenticated clients and the access point with 802.11X port authentication. It locks out unauthorized wireless access by authenticating users prior to granting network access and secures data integrity of the wireless traffic with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) or Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP). It prevents communication between wireless devices associated with the same access point through local wireless bridge client traffic filtering. Integrated intrusion detection and prevention detects, locates, and mitigates unknown or rogue devices.
